How important is the internet?
Very important: UNIKON RACE is a full cloud-based system. Everything runs via the internet to the NPO computer, reporting address, the club’s PC, and smartphones.

What happens if the internet goes down?
As long as there’s contact with the server (purple light on RACE), all pigeons are registered according to regulations. The system stores this data for about a week and sends it as soon as the internet is restored.

Is maintenance required?
No, there are no batteries or loose parts to replace.

How do software updates work?
Updates are automatically pushed out via the server.

Do I need internet at home?
No, a smartphone with a SIM card is sufficient.

Do I need a subscription?
Yes, you purchase UNIKON RACE and subscribe to an annual or multi-year subscription (calendar year). You’ll automatically receive a notification upon renewal.

What’s the warranty like?
Standard 2 years, extendable to 5 years. If it’s defective, return it and receive a replacement immediately (often within 24 hours).

I don’t know how the system works, what can I do?
