We are pleased to announce an important change in how UNIKON products will be managed and supported across the UK and Ireland.
From 1st December 2025, responsibility for UNIKON sales, service, and customer support will transfer to Pigeon Electronic Ltd, the official UK partner of the Elektrokon UNIKON Group. This follows deister electronic’s decision to focus more strongly on its core security and identification technology sectors.
The new structure places UNIKON’s day-to-day operations into the hands of a dedicated team with deep knowledge of the pigeon racing community. Ray Knight will oversee UK and Ireland operations, working closely with Nico de Heus of the Elektrokon UNIKON Group, already responsible for UNIKON in NL, BE, FR, PL, and MT.
This transition supports the launch of the new UNIKON Race system, ensuring customers benefit from continuity, expertise, and experienced technical support.
It is important to note that deister electronic remains the owner, developer, and manufacturer of the UNIKON brand, continuing to invest in its research, development, and long-term innovation. Only the management of sales and support in the UK and Ireland is changing.
Until the transition date, all existing service work will be completed as normal. After 1st December 2025, deister electronic (UK) Ltd will no longer accept UNIKON repairs, sales orders, or support enquiries. All customer services will be handled exclusively by Pigeon Electronic Ltd.
